![]() Portable Altar - September 19, 2004 - "As a practicioner of Celtic Wicca and one who is still learning his craft, I found Syd Gardner's "portable altar" to be perfect. Syd designed my altar in purple -- the spiritual color given to me by the gods -- in order to tailor to me as an individual. Within the portable altar, I found everything I needed to aid me in my magick-working. I would recommend Syd Gardner's Portable Altar kit to anyone who is serious about beginning a path in the magick arts." - M. Keltner, Lancaster, CA. |
![]() From a Wholesale Customer - April 25, 2005 - "I wanted to publicly praise Lirica. I got an order of her absolutely adorable boxes today. If you have a store, you may really want to look into them. The frog prince box made me smile. 'Love the magical castle! Her little fairies are just precious and she adds an extra touch, which came as a wonderful surprise, she puts the name of your company, website, phone etc, on the bottom of the box. Oh, they melt your heart, good prices too!" - Cindy O. from The Next Millennium located at 2308 North 72nd Street, Omaha, NE. 68134 |
![]() Custom Made Handfasting Broom - June 29, 2006 "Dearest Sister Lirica, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, from my deepest heart, for blessing my marriage with one of your beautiful creations. About a year before my wedding, my magickal partner visited California, and saw your crafts, most notably, your besom. He felt, you were the one to craft my broom for my handfasting ceremony. Of course, trusting his judgement, I called you immediately. I was delighted with our conversations following in that year. You were so attentive to every detail. Always showing great concern for my vision. There were times I even envisioned you crafting the broom for me. I saw you take great care in your work. After receiving the broom, I knew that was true. You definitely "tuned" right in. Since this was one of the most important events of my life, I recruited many of my fellow pagans to magickally infuse every aspect of that day. Unbeknownst to you, I decide to have Peacock feathers added to my center pieces, as well as around the hearth to honor our gracious goddess of marriage, Hera. So of course when I found out my broom was being crafted with Peacock feathers, I was not surprised. Thanks be to our God and Goddess for your beautiful hands. May they always create such divine works." D. Camiolo (Lady Amunet), Brooklyn, NY. |
![]() Money Sachet - September 24, 2005 - "I was a little skeptical at first, but believe me it woked great! I put one in my change box the night before a vending session and things went exceptionally well for me both while vending and over the next several days!" - S. Gardner, Apple Valley, CA. |
Customer Comment - December 29, 2005 - "I am going to have a handfasting/wedding ceremony, and would love a broom from your design! The last picture (above) of the handfasting broom you made was absolutley grogeous!! The way the wood naturally curved (cork screw willow) that way is spectacular! I was blown away, and would love more info on your designs." - L. Castellanos, Van Nuys, CA. |
![]() Money Sachet - March 31, 2006 - "After purchasing the money sachet, I followed the instructions and visualized money ($20.00 bills) coming into my hands. I have been unemployed for a month or so and needed a couple hundred for rent and bills and I needed a job. The weekend after I bought the sachet, I made $210.00 (in 2 days) helping out a friend, and I found a new job soon after as well." - H. Ervin, Victorville, CA. |
![]() Custom Made Handfasting Broom - August 22, 2006 - "Dear Lirica, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, however we just got our pictures. Both my husband and I, and my son in laws parents recieved their photos but my daughter still hasn't and it's been almost 3 months since the wedding, so it's a touchy subject with my daughter. These 2 wonderful photos of them jumping the broom is a memory I will always cherish, I hope you enjoy it too. My son in law is an atheist like my husband, Ben was raised as a catholic, my hubby was raised a methodist. Myself I was raised a lutheran. At a very young age 7 or 8 I had a profound interest in witchcraft, so I read whatever I could fiction or non-fiction until Drawing Down The Moon & Starhawk hit the presses. I preceaded onto Gardner, the Ferrars, etc..., and hence became a self-dedicated solitary pagan witch. With each daughter I had I taught them everything I knew that they could absorb as each year passed by. I also experienced belonging to a coven for a few short lived years (everyone moved), in which the coven members became like family to the girls and chuck & I. Both my girls, now young women are still practising pagan witches, they consider themselves hereditary witches because they were taught by mom and we also practise magic which stays only among us kept in 2 large BOS 3-ring binders. The threefold law and wiccan rede is not in our BOS, as we are not wiccan. For Brade to have her own special besom on her wedding day was not only magical it was just perfect. Brade & Ben were married by a justice of the peace, but he had done his homework. Apparently many others had jumped the broom as well because during the ceremony right before they jumped the broom he told the guests of it's meaning and lore. This was fabulous, everyone had an understanding of it's significance and meaning, especially for Brade, as Ben's family knows she is a witch. However we are "In the Closet" witches, we don't talk about it. We do wear pentagrams, just not all the time. So when someone see's are pentagrams and say's something on occasion, we smile, exchange a few happy words, and sometimes even hug, we are happy and content to be what we are, pagan witches. I feel somehow like I already know you. I can certainly say it has not only been a pleasure talking with you, but you will always be in our hearts because you handmade Brade's wedding besom. Please feel free to stay in touch. Bright Blessings & Goddess Bless," C. & D. Insco, B. & B. Carlson, Virginia Beach, VA. |
![]() Custom Made Handfasting Broom - May 20, 2007 "Thank you again so much for the beautiful broom that you made for my handfasting. The pictures that you sent me before hand do not do it justice. The ceremony went beautifully and I got many wonderful comments about the broom. It was a blessing to find you because I must have looked at a hundred websites trying to find a quality, hand-crafted broom and had zero luck until I found your website. I will most definitely refer you to everyone I know. For part of our wedding gift, my father hand-crafted a wooden shelf with brackets to hold our broom and it now hangs in our bedroom to always remind us of our love and commitment to one another. I have attached some pictures from the ceremony. There should be one of us before we jumped the broom, one jumping it, and I threw in one of the awesome tree that we got married under. I like to think of it as the Tree of Life. I think it may be an Ash tree but I'm not certain. I hope you like them. Thanks so much." K. and B. Simpson, Lithonia, GA. |
